Join the ArcGIS Pipeline Data Model (APDM) Association
The ArcGIS Pipeline Data Model (APDM) is designed for storing information pertaining to features found in gathering and transmission pipelines, particularly gas and liquid systems. APDM was expressly designed for implementation as an Esri geodatabase for use with Esri ArcGIS and ArcSDE products. Learn more.
APDM is also the name of the association that manages and develops the data model. The future of APDM will be governed by its members through their specified representatives. The relationship between a member and its representative is explained below.
Member—Organizations can be members of APDM. Membership is free. Member organizations are responsible for voting during elections and attending one of the three major yearly meetings (Esri Petroleum GIS Conference, Esri UC, or GITA). To be a member, you must be incorporated and involved in the pipeline industry.
Representative—A member organization acts through a specified representative. The representative must have an Esri Global Account and be part of PIG (if you register online, you will automatically become a PIG member). The member's representative can be changed, but the information must be kept current. The member’s representative will receive all APDM communication. Other staff members can register with APDM and receive communications, but only the representative will receive election information.
