ArcGIS Pipeline Data Model

The ArcGIS Pipeline Data Model (APDM) is a flexible Esri geodatabase template that can be used as a foundation for building a pipeline GIS. The model is designed for storing feature information about gas and liquid transmission systems. APDM is created and maintained by elected representatives from the pipeline industry.

A dedicated group from the pipeline industry, the ArcGIS Pipeline Data Model Association, develops and manages the ArcGIS Pipeline Data Model.

Independent of Esri, the Pipeline Open Data Standard (PODS) is a relational data model developed and maintained by the PODS Association.
