Interns work on small, focused development teams with programmers and product engineers to learn about designing, building, testing and documenting desktop, server, web, and mobile products.
Professional Services
Interns work on designing and implementing custom GIS technology for external clients. Team members are involved with developing and building GIS databases, creating customized GIS applications, and writing proposal and project scope documents.
Technical Support
Interns work with Support Analysts, who assist Esri customers in solving technical problems, by documenting technical issues, tracking incidents, writing Knowledge Base articles, and submitting software defect/enhancement requests.
Educational Services
Interns work alongside software instructors and educational specialists to help design classes and curricula.
Finance and Accounting
Interns work with experienced professionals to perform basic accounting tasks and further their understanding of the field.
Marketing
Interns work on diverse projects such as writing, research, preparing marketing materials, helping build demos, or event planning.
Contracts and Legal
Law students are assigned short- and long-term projects of preparing, drafting, and researching a wide variety of agreements and other documents involving copyright, trademark, and license agreement issues.

Interns assist regional sales and marketing staff with building product demonstrations and also perform research and analysis.
