What was your role? I worked with desktop support analysts to assist users with ArcGIS for Desktop overcome workflow, data, or software related issues. Through this process, we were able to help users understand how to most efficiently use Esri products.

Coolest thing about working at Esri? The breadth of products, information, and training that I was able to access and the opportunity to grow my knowledge of GIS, GPS, database/server management, programming languages, and online applications.

Most important thing you learned during your internship? The ability to critically analyze problems and creatively work toward the most efficient solution

Where is the last place you traveled to? Yosemite National Park on a hike from Happy Isles to the top of Nevada Falls

Last song you downloaded? "Mercy" by Dave Matthews Band

Favorite way to spend a Saturday afternoon? Something outdoors, like hiking; camping; or, better yet, snowboarding

If you were stranded on a desert island, what three items would you want with you? Bear Grylls, a surfboard, and a library

Can't (but wish you could): Skydive or BASE jump with a wingsuit
