Meet Ghina

School: University of Southern California

Degree/Major: Master's in Geographic Information Science and Technology

What was your role? I worked with staff in Professional Services’ Business Partner and Enterprise Advantage Program. I shadowed technical advisors by attending conference calls and client meetings and supported the technical advisor team by working on break-out consulting tasks for various partner and customer accounts.

Coolest thing about working at Esri? As a GIS nerd, one of the coolest things about working at Esri was seeing Jack Dangermond hanging out at the Esri Café like it’s no big deal!

Most important thing you learned during your internship? Don’t be afraid to network! Working at Esri gave me access to a variety of interesting and experienced professionals in the industry who were always more than willing to answer any questions about what they do.

Where is the last place you traveled to? South Korea for my sister’s wedding

Last movie you saw? Thumbs up or thumbs down? Horrible Bosses. Luckily, I didn’t have any horrible bosses at Esri, but I definitely give this movie double thumbs up!

If you were stranded on a desert island, what three items would you want with you? An endless supply of sandwiches (that never go bad), fresh water (in case the island lacks basic essentials), and music so I can enjoy the beach and my sandwiches

Can: Eat

Can't (but wish you could): Cook
