What was your role?
I designed and developed ETL packages to perform data transformation of raw royalty-bearing consumption data and to preserve data in database tables to generate accounting reports. I created and generated SSRS reports for different departments, analyzed ArcGIS usage and subscription data using the statistical data analysis tool SPSS, and delivered valuable insights which have revealed interesting patterns in product usage and performance.
Coolest thing about working at Esri?
The collaboration and cooperation among the employees of different ages, continents, departments, and technologies with a common goal to contribute to Esri`s development, which creates a friendly working atmosphere.
Most important thing you learned during your internship?
I gained practical experience on different tools for data warehousing, reporting, and analysis and learned the methods of presenting the findings and communicating the results. The way my team believed in me has boosted my confidence in completing my activities.

Las Vegas, the “Entertainment Capital of the World”

Playing cricket at a Redlands school ground with other Esri colleagues, pool parties, and hiking

Beer gallon, iPod for music, and probably a GIS map to figure a way out from that island
