What was your role? I participated in technical presentations and demonstrations, which gave me the opportunity to learn the capabilities of and best practices for Esri solutions, specifically ArcGIS 10.1 and ArcGIS Online. I contributed to the Community Maps Program for my campus in Boulder and also helped colleagues prepare material for their plenary presentation at the Esri International User Conference, featuring the Utah Department of Transportation and ArcGIS Online for Organizations.
Coolest thing about working at Esri? Seeing GIS come alive; working with all the latest Esri products
Most important thing you learned during your internship? Be curious and ask questions; there is a lot to learn!
Favorite way to spend a Saturday afternoon? Running, hiking, or biking, and then stopping by one of the many great spots in downtown Boulder
Can: Play ping-pong
Can't (but wish you could): Fly airplanes
