Meet Steven

School: California Polytechnic University, Pomona

Degree/Major: Bachelor's in Business Administration–Finance

What was your role? I worked in the Professional Services Division where my duties were project initiation, budgeting, project control, cost control, pricing, and invoicing; project and program administration; and ad hoc reporting.

Coolest thing about working at Esri? Learning from all of the brilliant people I was surrounded by on a daily basis pushing me to take on more tasks and to learn as much as possible in the short time of three months

Most important thing you learned during your internship? There is never a day that goes by that you should not try to learn something new. This will only make you a stronger and more intelligent person.

Where is the last place you traveled to? Cayucos, California, a little town in Central Coast most people haven’t heard much of

Favorite way to spend a Saturday afternoon? Wake up early, sit out on the patio with a coffee and some breakfast, go do hot yoga, and then top it off with a dip in the ocean on a sunny beach

If you were stranded on a desert island, what three items would you want with you? A spider free environment, a surfboard, and a flint and a knife ('cause a fire is the most important thing when you’re stranded)

Can: Surf and snowboard

Can't (but wish you could): Not be afraid of spiders
