GIS Services

We seek students who are majoring in GIS, geography, or environmental studies and have knowledge of Esri products, GIS application development, GIS databases, spatial analysis, and/or cartography.

Over the summer interns worked with senior staff to

• Create maps for display at the Esri International User Conference and then convert them to web maps with ArcGIS Online
• Analyze and develop geocoding for 22 Arabic-speaking countries in the Middle East and North Africa
• Develop a mobile application for search and rescue teams to improve communications and efficiency
