Solution Engineering

We seek students who have strong technical skills and are majoring in computer science or GIS.

Interns in this division should have knowledge of Esri products and in areas such as C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, HTML5, .NET, Python, Silverlight, and SQL; as well as web, mobile, and app development.

Projects the interns were involved in over the summer included

• Working on the back end development and data management for an iPad app
• Creating automated sanity tests for ArcGIS web APIs
• Creating testing suites to evaluate the quality of the World Geocoding services provided by ArcGIS Online
