The new Redlands Trolleys provide the same efficient Omnitrans service with antique-styled, rubber-wheeled trolley buses. The trolleys operate seven days a week along two new routes, the Blue and Red Routes. These routes replace Omnitrans Routes 30 and 31, and will serve virtually the same area.

The trolley service to most areas will operate on a 60-minute frequency; however, the routes will provide 30-minute service between the University of Redlands and downtown Redlands for the first time. In an additional service enhancement, the routes will provide two-way service along Colton Avenue and will also run along historic State Street.

San Bernardino County's bus service has 34 routes that cover most metropolitan areas of the County. Three routes run through Redlands, and Omnitrans has a standing policy to stop for anyone along their route who flags them down.

Buses run from approximately 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., with hourly departures on almost every line.

Bus fare is $1.00 (you'll need exact change) for adults and 45¢ for senior citizens (60+) with proper identification, the handicapped, and children. Children four years and under ride free. An all-day pass can be purchased for $2.50 for adults and $1.25 for seniors.

Redlands City Hall and the Smiley Public Library have free copies of the bus schedules for all routes.
