ESRI Data—Crime Indexes contains information about major personal and property crime categories such as murder, rape, robbery, assault, burglary, theft, and motor vehicle theft. Conforming to reporting procedures in the FBI’s Uniform Crime Report (UCR), aggregated separate and total personal and property unweighted indexes are prepared; therefore, a purse-snatching is weighted equally to a murder.
