Analyses developed with inaccurate data can dramatically affect results. Does data accuracy matter? Indeed it does. For example, under- or overestimated data could mean an inaccurate assessment of an area's growth potential, or the loss of dollars, healthcare, grants, services—perhaps even life itself.
