Thank you for your interest in ArcWatch, an online monthly newsletter from Esri. ArcWatch features news about Esri and lively articles about how GIS technology is changing the world. We seek articles from the GIS community that share insights into how GIS influences the way people live, work and perceive the world.
Please submit articles with a suggested length of about 550 to 800 words to the ArcWatch Online Web site via the Esri Article Submission and Copyright Policy page. Remember, you must read and agree to the copyright policy before uploading your article and submitting it. Articles received will be reviewed and considered for publication.
Articles also need artwork. Please send original digital screen shots or images. Do not send images that have been saved from Microsoft applications such as PowerPoint, Word, or Excel. Send graphics as BMP, GIF, PNG, or JPG (at low compression with highest quality) files.
For screen captures from ArcGIS Desktop, export maps as JPG, PNG, or GIF files with a resolution of 300 ppi. A guide for making simple screen shots [PDF-219 KB, 2 pages] and exporting maps from ArcGIS is available.
Please provide a 10- to 20-word caption for each image that clearly describes how the image relates to the article. Send the artwork and captions to firstname.lastname@example.org.
