Steve Ressler

Founder and President of GovLoop.com

Steve Ressler is the Founder and President of GovLoop.com, the "Knowledge Network for Government" which connects and fosters collaboration among over 100,000 members of the government community. On GovLoop, members use social media such as blogs, videos, and forums to discuss best practices and share ideas on improving government.

Ressler is a 3rd generation public sector leader and spent 6 years in roles at Social Security Administration, Department of Education, Department of Homeland Security Inspector General, and DHS Immigrations and Customs Enforcement. He has won the 2010 GovTech Top 25 Doers, Dreamers, and Drivers Award, the 2007 and 2009 Federal 100 Award, and the 2009 AFCEA Bethesda Social Media Award. Additionally, he has been featured in many publications and conferences including the Washington Post, Harvard Kennedy School, World Economic Forum, Wall Street Journal, Fox News, and Huffington Post, among others.

Ressler is also the cofounder of Young Government Leaders (YGL), a professional organization of over 2,000 government employees across the U.S. He is a Master's graduate from the University of Pennsylvania where he received the Department of Homeland Security Fellowship. When not in DC, he spends his time with his wife, his son, and two cats in Tampa, Florida.

Clara Brenner

Chief Executive Officer, Tumml

Clara Brenner is responsible for Tumml's partnership development, marketing, and fund-raising. She has a background in urban real estate and sustainability. Most recently, she worked as an Associate with WestMill Capital, a real estate investment start-up focused on alternative financing and merchandising mixes authentic to the local area. Notably, she developed and edited content for two WestMill web platforms (Popularise.com and Fundrise.com) to interact with the community about local real estate projects, solicit feedback on those projects, and allow the community to invest in those projects.

Prior to WestMill Capital, Brenner worked at AECOM, a Fortune-500 company specializing in construction management, engineering, design, planning, and consulting. She also spent several years with GVA Advantis and Monument Realty. Brenner is a LEED Accredited Professional and a notary public. She was Co-Chair of the 2012 MIT Sloan Women in Management Conference, and was awarded the Martin Trust Community Fellowship for her student leadership, as well as a Forte Fellowship. Brenner earned her MBA from MIT Sloan and her BA from NYU.
