Description

This course teaches how to use the ArcGIS API for JavaScript (version 3.x) to efficiently develop high-performing, engaging web applications that meet the needs of their intended audience.

What do I need to bring?

Bring a laptop or desktop computer running the most recent version of Firefox with Firebug (http://getfirebug.com) installed, or Chrome. Unfortunately for this course, loaner or classroom machines are NOT provided or available. You must bring your own.

Why do I need this class?

You will learn about the classes available in the API, how to use them in a JavaScript-based web application, and how to incorporate ArcGIS services and ArcGIS Online content to enhance your applications. This course focuses on functionality available with ArcGIS 10.x services.

Prerequisites

JavaScript and HTML programming experience is required, along with completion of ArcGIS 4: Sharing Content on the Web and Introduction to the ArcGIS for Server REST API, or equivalent knowledge is required.
