Call for Presentations
Share Your Knowledge at the Esri Education User Conference, the Ultimate Event for GIS Education
As an educator using GIS, you know the benefits that this powerful technology brings to both formal and non-formal education. Whether you are an instructor or administrator, seize this opportunity to share your knowledge with colleagues and submit an abstract for the 2012 Esri Education User Conference. Presenting your work enriches our collective understanding of the benefits of GIS, stimulates discussion, and develops lasting bonds among participants. View the presentation topics and descriptions for additional information.

Content and formatting
- All papers and presentations must be noncommercial. At no time is it permissible for presenters to use their time slot to advertise or promote a product, service, or company.
- Remember, the information you enter is used for publishing purposes (e.g., Web site and agenda); therefore, eliminate bullet points, numbering, or all capital letters; submissions must be in English.
- Do not include information in your abstract that will not be included in your presentation.
- Business partners must have a client as the primary presenter. Any presentation must focus on your client's success and how Esri software provided a solution.
Presenter Information
- Presentations within moderated paper sessions are typically 25 minutes or less, with two to three presenters per session.
- A poster presentation consists of a short summary of an issue or project, illustrated by a poster or computer presentation (e.g. software demo or multimedia display), followed by a one-on-one or small group discussion with interested listeners at the poster/computer. All summary presentations will be given at the beginning of the poster session before participants disperse to the poster boards/computers around the room for discussion.
- This year's committee will evaluate all abstracts and make selections based on topic, content, and time available. All authors will be notified after the selection process. A detailed program of presentations and events will be provided prior to the conference. A projector and screen will be provided in the presentation room.
All presenters must register for the conference. Acceptance as a presenter does not register you, and registration fees are required. Registration will be available in December 2011.
