The Making a Difference Award will be presented along with presentations from Jerry Johnston on the GeoSpatial Platform and Jacqueline McGlade, executive director of the European Environmental Agency (EEA).

The Map and the Mission is the theme of the afternoon headed by Esri staff and showcasing five user presentations by Arlington National Cemetery, U.S. Census Bureau, Marine Corps Intelligence Activity, U. S. Department of Agriculture Animal and Plant Inspection Service, National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration - National Hurricane Center, and U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
