Map Gallery Submissions

Show us how GIS has benefitted forest management

The Map Gallery is your opportunity to put your work on display during the conference. All posted map submissions are eligible for the People's Choice Award. Submissions are due by April 13, 2013.

Awards

Esri Forestry Group Award—A panel of judges from the Esri Forestry Group and Esri’s forestry team will select their favorite map and award a prize package that includes ArcGIS for Desktop Standard.

People's Choice Awards During the conference, attendees can vote for their favorite map or poster entry. The top four will be recognized during the Wednesday afternoon plenary with the following awards:

• First Place: To be announced
• Second Place: Choice of three Esri Press books
• Third Place: Choice of two Esri Press books
• Honorable Mention: Choice of one Esri Press book

Submission Guidelines

• Content: A map with a forestry theme that was created with Esri products.
• Poster: May include more than one map
• Size: 24" x 36"
• MB limit: 20 MB 
• Format: .pdf only (include all fonts or convert to outlines)
• Print: Esri will print your poster and hang it in the Map Gallery.

When submitting, you will be asked for the following information:

• Map title
• Author(s)
• Primary contact
• E-mail
• Phone number
• Organization
• Esri products used (license level and extensions)
• Brief description of map (20 words maximum)

Maps that do not meet these guidelines will not be posted.

Note: Map Gallery participants are encouraged to claim their posters at the conclusion of the Map Gallery. All unclaimed posters will be discarded.
