Applied Geography for a Better Future
The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development calls on you—the international community—to take on the global issues outlined in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Hosted in Geneva, Switzerland at Campus Biotech, the GIS for a Sustainable World Conference is the place for you to start making strategic strides towards achieving your organization’s global goals. This year’s event features an engaging, interactive environment that drives collaboration with your peer community. You’ll learn from your colleagues and GIS subject matter experts, discovering how improved workflows, stronger spatial analysis, and deeper insight from intelligent maps and apps can be game-changers for the 17 Global Goals for Sustainable Development.
This year’s agenda features engaging breakout sessions, immersive technical workshops, interactive discussion groups, and a powerful Plenary Session. Each has been built to help you plan your mission geographically, and leverage innovative GIS technology to achieve your SDGs—transforming the world by helping to end poverty, inequality, climate change, and more.
