Building Strength

The theme for the 2011 Society for Conservation GIS Conference is "Building Strength." We will focus on the strength and capacity of individuals, communities, and organizations to achieve conservation by

  • Creating partnerships and support networks
  • Developing innovative applications and training
  • Improving access to resources in conservation science and planning
  • Building decision support systems

We invite you to share your stories about building strength for conservation and how we can contribute to building capacity and strength locally, regionally, and globally.
