ArcGIS API for JavaScript
A browser-based application programming interface (API) for developing high performance, easy-to-use mapping applications. The API allows you to easily embed maps in your Web pages. This API is hosted by Esri on ArcGIS Online and is available for free use. Try it

ArcGIS API for Flex
An API that enables you to build dynamic RIAs on top of ArcGIS Server. You can create interactive and expressive Web applications leveraging ArcGIS Server resources—such as maps, locators, and geoprocessing models—and Flex components, such as grids, trees, and charts. ArcGIS API for Microsoft Silverlight (BETA)
An API that provides you with a cross-browser, cross-platform development environment for building and delivering RIAs. You can create interactive and expressive Web applications leveraging ArcGIS Server and Virtual Earth resources—such as maps, locators, and geoprocessing models—and Silverlight components, such as grids, tree views, and charts.
