ArcGIS for Emergency Management
Jeff Baranyi
ArcGIS for Emergency Management is a scalable, reference configuration of a common operating platform designed to organize and deliver the baseline tools and data typically needed to support an Emergency Management organization in a targeted and meaningful way. This includes access from the desktop, server, mobile and web, each accessing a common repository of data and tools that are managed by the ArcGIS platform. These data and tools have been typically accessed by a single web based Common Operating Picture (COP) and as a result the user experience and access has been difficult. ArcGIS for Emergency Management promotes a common operating platform for the organization that provides mission specific maps or applications aligned with a user's role or responsibilities in the organization. This presentation will provide an overview of the components and templates that are a part of ArcGIS for Emergency Management. |
