Hear firsthand from Colonel David W. Madden about the largest avionics integration and installation program in the U.S. Department of Defense. Colonel Madden is responsible for the multinational, multiservice development of all GPS space, satellite, and ground segments. Colonel Madden entered the Air Force in 1980 after graduating from the Virginia Military Institute. He has gained vast experience in systems engineering; technical intelligence; and space systems requirements, development, fielding, and operations. In addition, he has commanded a Space Operations Squadron and a Material Acquisition Group. Prior to assuming his current position, Colonel Madden was Vice Commander, Global Positioning Systems Wing, Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles Air Force Base, California. Timothy C. Mr. McCormick is a professional engineer and certified floodplain manager who has a master of science degree in civil engineering from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute.
