Kids Camp 2008—Galactic Information Systems

Kids Camp is blasting off to new galaxies this year. Young geographers will explore the universe of GIS through hands-on activities, including building cities and mapping potential landing sites on other planets, following the Pathfinder trails on Mars, and creating new Martian geography by melting the icecaps.

GIS Kids Camp is a great way for your children to learn GIS. ESRI staff and educators from around the world will offer special hands-on sessions. Your children will work through general computer skills, see an overview of GIS, and do specific projects with ESRI software. All classes will be held at the Marriott Hotel and Marina adjacent to the Convention Center.
