Internet Access
ALL presentation rooms in the San Diego Convention Center and Marriott Hotel will have access to the Internet. The connection to the Internet will be through the desktop computer provided in each room. You may not use your own computer to access the Internet in the session rooms. Do not plan to download any data for your presentation through the Internet connection in the room.

Note: For Internet use outside the presentation rooms, please go to the Message Center in Ballroom 20A. Computers and connections for use with your own laptop are available.

PowerPoint Slide Suggestions
  • Keep in mind how far away the audience is likely to be in large rooms.
  • Try to keep text size at least 18 or 20 points for readability. If you can’t fit everything on a slide at that size, you should probably break it into two or more slides.
  • Use high-contrast colors. Don’t use red, dark green or black text or graphics against darker backgrounds. Best colors are white, yellow, light green, and aqua (light blue).
  • Make sure arrows and other connectors between graphics also have high contrast.
  • Do not overdo animation on slides. If you have animation, try to keep the number of mouse clicks per slide to a minimum and practice with your slides the day before your session to be familiar with the interaction.

Note: We do not provide a template for your presentation.
