What is my install/customer number? How do I get it?

Call our registration team at 909-793-2853, extension 1-1363, to obtain your install/customer number.

Last year, my company had x number of complimentary registrations. Why don't we have any this year?

Complimentary registrations are issued to companies with current maintenance programs. Check to make sure your maintenance program is current by calling our customer service department at 888-377-4575.

Is there a special rate for state/local government employees?

Unfortunately, we do not offer special conference rates for state or local government employees. Standard conference rates apply.

Is lunch provided at the conference?

Esri does not provide any food at the conference. A number of food vendors will be on-site at the Convention Center for your convenience.

How can I add/cancel one of the Preconference seminars in my registration?

E-mail the name of the seminar(s) you wish to add or cancel.

Where do I pick up my badge?

Registration will be located in Hall E of the San Diego Convention Center. You will need a photo ID to pick up your badge. Registration times and locations are listed in your registration confirmation.

Can I pay for registration on-site?

Yes. If you have a balance due at the time of the conference, you will need to pay at the on-site Registration Desk. The Registration Desk accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, checks, traveler's checks, and cash.

I would like to be invoiced for my payment. Is this possible?

Esri customers with accounts in good standing can be invoiced for the conference. A purchase order with the correct amount and attendee name must be faxed to 909-307-3128, Attention: UC Registration. Invoices are processed about 30 days after the conference.

Do I receive a refund if I cancel my registration for the conference?

Yes. We will process credit card/check refunds for cancellations received by
June 29. Refunds normally take 4–6 weeks to credit your account. Confirmed registrants who do not participate or who cancel after the deadline will forfeit their registration fees. Esri reserves the right to cancel any event if the minimum registration is not met. Registration fees for canceled events will be refunded.

What time does the Plenary Session start?

The Plenary Session starts at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, July 23, 2012. Esri president Jack Dangermond hosts this event.

What time do I have to be at the conference?

If you have already registered and do not have a balance due, you may want to be at the Convention Center an hour before sessions begin. If you are going to register on-site, or if you have a balance due, you should be there 90 minutes before the conference begins.

Can I bring my family to any of the events?

*Note: Tickets are required for spouses and children for the Thursday night celebration. Spouses and guests are welcome and encouraged to join in the fun and excitement of the party and dance. It's especially fun for children. Tickets can be purchased at the Activities Desk (hours of operation are below) during the conference, or they can be purchased in advance by calling UC registration at 909-793-2853, ext. 1363.

Outside of the Esri conference, San Diego offers a wealth of opportunities for families. Seaport Village is a short walk from the convention center. The San Diego Zoo, the Wild Animal Park, Sea World, and several museums at Balboa Park are fabulous sites for visitors. For more information, visit the San Diego Visitors Bureau.

Will child care be available?

Although Esri does not provide child care, KiddieCorp will be available for your convenience at the Marriott.

Does Esri provide a list of attendees for the UC and/or concurrent events?

The Esri User Conference and concurrent events are open only to Esri software users. The user list is proprietary information and, therefore, is not provided to exhibitors or attendees. However, Esri does place barcodes on the badges for UC and concurrent events. Exhibitors are encouraged to rent a lead retrieval system to capture attendee information.
