IAAO/Esri Technology Foundation Grant Series Introductory Start-Up Grant Program

One hundred United States-based governments to receive software and training to develop a GIS program for assessment and tax mapping purposes.

The IAAO Introductory Start-Up Grant Program was instituted to assist assessment and tax mapping agencies in the creation of GIS projects, make agencies more efficient, and facilitate the migration of GIS data between departments. The Introductory Start-Up Grant Program consists of a $1,187,000 investment in Esri's GIS software, training, and access to data to 100 tax authorities and assessment agencies meeting the requirements of an eligible government organization.
