A Birdseye View of Barrington

Barrington is a network of peninsulas jutting southward into Narragansett Bay. From the air, one can see the distinctive shape of Brickyard Pond in the center of town. This is not a natural pond, but one which formed when the clay pit for the town’s brick works filled in with water from underground springs. Major roads connect Barrington with East Providence to the north and west, Massachusetts to the north and Warren to the east.
