Data Model for Botanical Gardens and Zoological Parks

GIS managers at North American botanical gardens and zoos has joined together as the Alliance of Public Gardens GIS (APGG) to design a GIS data model for mapping facilities and plant collections. The ArcGIS Botanical Gardens and Zoological Parks Data Model is available at www.APGG.org.

The Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) funded the data model's development and the group is open to any garden, zoo, or campus that uses its landscape for teaching or research. Current partners include
