Ryan Lanclos

Mr. Lanclos has been a member of the Esri Public Safety team since joining Esri in 2006 as the Public Safety Account Executive for the Central US.  He currently works as the Emergency Management and Humanitarian Industry Manager.  His responsibilities include understanding and guiding Esri’s activities for emergency management, global humanitarian assistance/disaster relief (HADR), and crisis mapping.  Mr. Lanclos also leads Esri’s Disaster Response Program which responds to incidents globally.

Professional Experience:

  • Over 14 years of experience working with GIS at multiple levels of government
  • First Geographic Information Officer (GIO) for the State of Missouri where he coordinated GIS resources statewide
  • Served as the GIS lead for the Missouri Governor’s Homeland Security Advisory Council
  • Implemented a nationally recognized GIS program focused on bio-security
  • Served as Homeland Security chair for the 9 state MidAmerica GIS Consortium (MAGIC)
  • Esri Disaster Response Program operations lead for:
    • 2011 US National Level Exercise
    • 2011 Joplin, Missouri Tornado
    • 2012 US Wildfires
    • 2012 Hurricane Sandy
    • 2013 Moore, Oklahoma Tornado
    • 2013 California Rim Fire
    • 2013 Colorado Flooding
