Community Policing Beat Book Application

The Community Policing Beat Book application is an easy-to-use application that gives an officer access to electronic maps that display information about the community, tools for recording and mapping various types of information, as well as simple search and query functionality. The application can be personalized by the officer, and is designed for use either in the field on a laptop or in-car computer, or at the station. The Community Policing Beat Book was created using ESRI's MapObjects, and its development was supported under an award from the National Institute of Justice (NIJ), Department of Justice. For more information about the Beat Book application, see the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), or download the User Guide (#2 below).
