3D Population Distribution in the Bay Area in 2000
This map depicts a multidimensional surface derived from population density distribution within the nine-county San Francisco Bay Area. A hillshade grid was layered beneath the grid depicting population density from which it was derived.

Global Population Density Estimates for 2015
Global population density maps exist up to the year 2005, but there is no map depicting the projected situation in 2015, which is the target date of Millennium Development Goals and the World Food Summit. This is the first such map for 2015. It was made based on the data from more than 375,000 administrative units. Population is projected to the year 2015 using simple extrapolation methods.

Northern Goshawk Models
The Northern Goshawk Nesting Suitability model was developed to support a resource management plan. The variables used to develop the model were height class, canopy closure, tree species, and edges.

St. Johns County Northwest Sector Plan Responding to the Florida Department of Transportation concerns about traffic congestion on Interstate 95, St. Johns County initiated the Northwest Sector Plan to create a vision of a full buildout for the 80,000 acres west of Interstate 95 and east of the St. Johns River.

The Institute for Urban and Regional Development at the University of California at Berkeley wanted to identify the vacant properties and environmental/toxic contamination sites in West Oakland as part of a larger effort to help West Oakland community groups improve the quality of life in their neighborhoods.
