ImageNet a DocStar Document Management VAR and ESRI Partner has been providing Local, County & State Government offices in Pennsylvania, New Jersey & Delaware with DocStar documents and GIS data in a portal viewer. "The ArcIMS/DocStar Internet portal “ARMADA” was developed to provide easy integration between ESRI's ArcIMS (Internet Map Server) and the DocStar document repository. This technology allows users to access both map-based information stored in a Geographic Information System (GIS) and DocStar documents, using nothing more than their Internet browser. ESRI-Philadelphia is working closely with ImageNet to ensure that the functionality built into this information "portal" closely matches the needs of local government clients - specifically those in Pennsylvania, whose unique home-rule method of governance presents them with many day-to-day challenges.
