About the Challenge

College and university faculty and students who use ArcGIS were invited to submit their analytic modeling projects to the Best Practices in Science Modeling Challenge 2007.

ESRI's ArcGIS provides a modeling framework for the creation, documentation, and sharing of custom GIS analysis tools. The purpose of this challenge is to recognize, reward, and share the great work being done by students and educators using the ArcGIS modeling framework to build analytic modeling tools that meet the needs of the scientific community.
