Esri has built ArcGIS from the ground up to support the standards geospatial experts use every day. ArcGIS supports the vision that GIS can be implemented using a standards-compliant computing platform that supports an abundance of geographic information types as well as comprehensive tools for data management, editing, analysis, display, and services. To meet these goals, Esri has a long-standing commitment to meet the standards and interoperability requirements set out by the Open Geospatial Consortium, Inc. (OGC) and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Technical Committee 211 (TC211).
The following links provide detailed information on Esri’s supported OGC and ISO/TC211 standards.
