The Lewis and Clark Bicentennial provides opportunities to learn about, reflect on, and explore the 1803–1806 expedition's events and their implications. Across the United States, an abundance of commemorations, exhibits, and related activities will span 2003 to 2006.

Numerous local, state, and tribal governments and many federal agencies are planning events. Stay current by visiting LewisandClark200.gov. This federal partnership Web site has news as well as useful content on programs and resources such as the Corps of Discovery II traveling exhibit, the downloadable Discovering the Legacy of Lewis and Clark map/brochure, and a wide range of agency and organization links.
