San Diego’s wastewater collection system consists of approximately 2,894 miles of sewer pipe made of various materials.
Noting the year of installation helps the city identify potential problem areas and address those issues in a systematic manner. The progress in the replacement of older pipes in each neighborhood can be seen graphically in this map as well as what remains to be done. |
