Monitoring Grizzly Bear Movements

More than 35,000 GPS locations obtained from GPS radio collars on 43 bears since 1999 are helping researchers assess grizzly bear habitat selection and movement patterns in relation to current landscape conditions. This work will be applied toward the development of a new model designed to predict the probability of grizzly bear occurrence on the landscape.
