Accelerated Cleaning Program

San Diego performs cleaning activities on all of its sewer pipelines. Pipes with documented problems are cleaned more frequently with some pipes getting cleaned as often as once a month. Cleaning crews gather data in the field so the cleaning frequencies can be modified as necessary. The map shows the pipes on the accelerated cleaning program, which are the pipes that have historically required the most maintenance.
