This poster shows 2002 water quality monitoring data of the Po River in the Piemonte region near Turin City. It is linked to the Italian river’s shapefile with dynamic segmentation.

The route system of the Po River was created along with the points representing the monitoring stations. The linear events that represent the monitored features of the river were included and note whether the data is in compliance with the law (yes/no). The data about the water quality was ranked from 1 (not polluted, very good) to 5 (highly polluted, very bad).

Tables are linked to the monitored features with the measurements of the polluting elements such as pH, chlorine, lead, and temperature. Italian regions send these measurements from the monitoring stations to the Environmental Protection National Agency.
