A View from Above—Electric Distribution Service Design

This map shows a theoretical electric distribution service design in Dominion's electrical service territory. CAD transformation tools were used to bring the property lines, building footprints, and parking lots into the land base layer.

Virginia Geographic Information Network data was added to true up land base and facility locations and for greater map detail. The legend was created and edited using ESRI tools. Dominion’s online construction manual was used to import the construction sketches into the page template.
