This series of maps portrays the historical frequencies of fire loss at a community level. The densities are based on fire loss locations 2,500 meters from one another. The red areas provide an insight into probability that a fire could occur again in this general location. Such probabilities are concentrated on the northeast and downtown regional areas of Calgary.
