Created for the Blue Ridge Berryessa Natural Area (BRBNA) Conservation Partnership, this map is intended to showcase the recreational priorities in BRBNA and to serve as a planning tool for the partnership. BRBNA is located less than two hours from California’s Sacramento and San Francisco Bay areas and includes the rugged natural landscapes and rangelands of the Putah and Cache creeks watersheds. The area supports a unique assemblage of ecological communities, abundant and diverse wildlife, and indigenous plants. The biodiversity and scenic beauty of the area create unique recreational opportunities highlighted in the map. To bring out BRBNA, a transparent mask was used on the surrounding areas, and a transparent feathered buffer was added to highlight the region.
