Street Directory of Singapore

The Singapore Land Authority (SLA) has been responsible for publishing Singapore’s official Street Directory since 1954. Prior to the 2006 edition, the SLA used various software products such as computer-aided design (CAD) software to produce the maps. This involved a lot of manual effort in updating, maintaining, and publishing the maps.

After converting to ArcGIS 9.2, the SLA was able to streamline the entire workflow of Street Directory production. It is now used entirely to edit, update, and create final publication-quality maps. The Street Directory maps are accessible online by the public for free use.
