After 40 years, the Czech Geological Survey released a new geological map of the Czech Republic at a scale of 1:500,000. The new map is derived from the observations assembled during the geological mapping of the Czech Republic at a scale of 1:50,000. The data was handled, managed, processed, and maintained completely in the ArcGIS environment. This map has been integrated in a regional GIS and will be presented and used via ArcIMS and ArcGIS Server technology.
