The Revised Development Plan of Le Granit Regional County Municipality

This map illustrates a revised development plan of Le Granit Regional County Municipality (MRC du Granit). Originally conveyed on separate plans, this is an all-encompassing map that includes economic, social, and environmental development features. It also includes a terrain TIN (triangulated irregular network), which allows users to distinguish among the three major mountains in the region: Mégantic, Gosford, and Sainte-Cécile. Land use classifications and infrastructure point symbols give an overview of the current status of development in the area. In the near future, the municipality will increase workflow efficiency by centralizing various datasets and putting mechanisms in place to share it with other municipalities across Québec.
