SPINKS Functionality

SPatial INformation Knowledge System (SPINKS) is a solution to support decision making with spatial analysis at Korea Land Corporation (KLC), whose business domain consists of housing welfare, industrial support, and land management.

Based on spatial data and its attributes, containing terrain, cadastral, and environment information that KLC has built up for a long time, SPINKS has been mainly used for sustainable development and balanced land management. SPINKS enables users to edit and search spatial data on the Web, leveraging ArcGIS geoprocessing tools powered by ArcGIS Server.

The five key roles of SPINKS are develop land management, support for land compensation, support of land banking, land suitability analysis, and policy-making support. With SPINKS, KLC not only gains a geographic advantage but also makes better decisions with greater efficiency.
