With limited funds and over 500 outstanding requests for new sidewalks, it is important to know where sidewalks exist, where sidewalks are to be built, and where the gaps exist. This map shows the inventory of existing sidewalks on thoroughfare roads in Cobb County and is maintained in the county's enterprise transportation layer CobbETRANS.

The Department of Transportation develops, manages, and operates the county's transportation systems. Those systems include a vast network of roadways, sidewalks, and pathways; a transit system that provides public transportation services; and a general aviation airport that serves business and recreational flying needs.
