This map is part of a series that coalesces the City of Sioux Falls' growth management policies with its method of implementation. Since all new development is contingent on sanitary sewer availability, that is the primary basis for the city's tier structure. The maps are used throughout city government and by the general public. Data layers analyzed include numerous utilities, public facilities, and parks and recreation enhancements. Further, this map series visually demonstrates when the timing of like infrastructure, such as streets and water, are out of alignment.
